1970s RED PHILIPS 22GF303/ 03L UFO PORTABLE RECORD PLAYER RARE DESIGN PATRICE DUPONT BATTERY MAIN OPERATED SPACE AGE Attention, all you design fanatics!Up for auction is this supercool 100% vintage PHILIPS portable record player, Type 22GF303 / 03L UFO record player. This is definitely the coolest and most desirable 1970s record player on earth. A really rare and hard-to-find object, from the 1970s Panton era, designed by Patrice Dupont. Stunning shape, looks like a flying saucer, this is perfect adorable space age design at it´s best. We don't know a more beautiful record player. Very rare PHILIPS 303 UFO record player, with red see-through lid. Very easy to carry around, because of its integrated handle. Possible to use it with batteries, but there is also a cable to power it by mains. Plays 33/45 and 78 rpm records. Its sound is very good, really more, than we expected, we are sure, you will love it. This hifi-rarity is in very good condition, there are slight scratches all around. Causes by storage. This awesome device is free of any damages, rips or cracks. Very well-tended, seems not to be used very often. One main thing is, the battery cover doesn't hold to the body, so we used a little stripe of sticky tape to get it hold to the body (see pics)The interior is also in very good condition. The battery compartment is clean and free of corrosion. We tested it, everything is working perfect. This is stunning design. Displayed in our favourite design-book L´utopie du tout pastique. It's realy well tended. Still a very shiny and glossy surface. We did some detailed pictures to give a perfect impression of this very cool item. For those who wanna get off being ordinary. measurements: diameter 12", height 5" YOU WANNA HAVE MORE?JUST CHECK OUR OTHER AUCTIONS!
This is a vintage Sony Record player that has been stored away and is a steal for anyone into vintage record players!! This item is in excellent condition and works great, please email with questions please! The charger that comes with it is not the origional but better. It is a Jensen that will go from 3v to 12v. This record player uses 6v. There is also my name etched on the bottom that I did 25 years ago. I barely ever used this item. It sat in a drawer but still faded a bit off white. Enjoy this is a rare item.

Up for auction we have a vintage Magnavox Stereo record player with detachable speakers. This is not a repaired or rebuilt unit, it is just like it was when Magnavox produced it around 1970. Other than clean dust off the outside cabinet, nothing else needed to be done...it seems like it was hardly ever used. There are not any scratches or wear marks inside the unit and only a few light scratches on the back of the unit (see picture). This is one of the high quality line of portable phonographs that Magnavox made in the 70's...and it is in as good of shape as the day it was sold. I have put two videos on Youtube to show the unit playing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2QFPh6Azug8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TGjCdQ7XK9s The controls (volume, balance, bass, treble) do not have even a hint of scratchiness. The volume will more than fill an average sized room. Not only does it have a strong amplifier, but each speaker cabinet has an 8" speaker and a 3" tweeter! Each speaker cabinet is detachable. The turntable is the famous Magnavox turntable produced in Great Britain, it is from the period when metal rather than plastic was extensively used throughout the mechanism. One important feature of this turntable is that when the tone arm returns to the resting post and the unit turns off, the mechanism automatically latches the arm so that if you move the record player the motion does not allow the tone arm to bounce around and be damaged. It uses an easily available stylus (needle): Astatic N2-SD, which can be purchased on Ebay for less than $7.00. It is a flip type stylus (2 sides), one for 33's and the other side for 78's. The needle in the arm now does not show any signs of wear. The record player can play all 4 speeds: 33, 78, 45, 16. The 45 adapter which allows you to play 45's is included. The dimensions (closed): 20.5"Wx15"Hx12"D. The width with the speakers swung open, but still attached is 40". I don't think a better portable phonograph can be found. I am charging $60 for shipping. This is because it will weigh 50 lbs after being boxed and I will use UPS for the carrier. I will make sure it is carefully boxed and will insure the shipment. If my cost is less than $60, I will automatically refund the difference. It can be returned within 7 days if not as described. Because it is a 40 year old unit, I can not guarantee how long it will work...but if you are not satisfied for any reason during the first 7 days you can return it for a full refund, except for shipping fees. I only ship to the lower 48 US states. No PO boxes please. Thank you for looking at this unique item.

Thank you for viewing my item! Available is a vintage 1970s WEGA stereo system. It is model number 3229 HiFi. The system is from W. Germany and has the plug in for German electric. However, I did buy a converter to plug into a standard 110 US outlet and the item does work. I was able to listen to a couple different stations. The writing is in German so I couldn't quite figure out what all the functions are. It does still have the styrofoam around the record player needle arm and is in excellent condition physically, other than a couple very small blemishes. The system measures approximately 27 x 15 inches. This item is very rare. All the writings on the stereo are in German. The item comes with all the original paperwork along with the warranty and a few extra pieces that I am not sure what they are for. Also included with the stereo system is a pair of original WEGA speakers. They are model number LB3529. They do have some light scratching on them, otherwise are in very good clean condition. Please e-mail with any questions to my ebay e-mail. Shipping/handling will be parcel post charges on 50 pounds in the U.S. Outside the U.S. will be Priority mail charges on 50 pounds.
